After purchasing a BBMP-approved apartment in Bangalore, the present owner should ensure that all ownership and related records are properly updated in their name, including:
• Registered Sale Deed
• BBMP e-Khata / Khata Transfer
• Property Tax records
• BESCOM electricity connection
• BWSSB water connection, if applicable
• Apartment Association / Maintenance records
• Parking records, if applicable
• Any other applicable utility or statutory records
All relevant certificates, receipts, NOCs and supporting documents should also be collected and safely maintained..
